【志願理由書】
My statement of purpose are divided into three parts: (1) reasons for application. Why do I want to apply for the major of international studies. I am interested in international cooperation and development at the undergraduate stage. (2) Existing research. It is mainly the research I participated in at the undergraduate stage and the content of my graduation thesis. (3) Research plan. This is the most important part. First of all, you must have problem consciousness. What I want to study and how I will study it. Be sure to find a content you are interested in to prepare. You must put forward a clear research question. After finding an interesting problem, read a lot of papers and materials, and then start to write a research plan, including the research content, research methods and maybe expected results.
【英語試験】
As I took the English test, I submitted my TOEFL score. The way to check English in the exam is divided into written test and interview. The written test is to answer a question in English. The interview is to read an English article and answer the professor's questions in English.

【筆記試験】
As for the written examination, if you have the opportunity, you'd better participate in the explanation meeting to understand the key words and scope of this year's examination. Then, according to the keywords, I found a lot of relevant papers on the Internet for reading each keyword. Then I also bought many books on international studies and sorted out some concepts of international cooperation. What I read most seriously is：『国際協力学』（高木保興著、東京大学出版会），it’s difficult for me to read too many books because the time for preparing for the exam is limited. I also downloaded the past questions on the official website and did all the past questions to familiarize myself with the examination methods.
【面接】
I was a little nervous during the interview, but the professors are all very nice, so don't have a burden in your heart and try to face the interview calmly. The main questions asked in the interview are the research plan and some of your answers in the written examination, so you should prepare your own research plan well. On the night after the written examination, you'd better review your written examination answers, which may also be asked in the interview.
【その他】
When preparing for the test, you can look at each professor's research direction, published papers and books, which can stimulate some inspiration related to research problems. At the same time, we must be interested in international studies. Interest is the best teacher.
